Some people like violence so much, that they decide to create a club in which human hunts are organized - members being alternately hunters, and prey, until they end up dead. A campy futuristic tale where people hunt one another for sport. In this film, Victim and Hunter run around Italy trying to score a kill in front of the movie crews they arranged so they could make commercials from the footage. In an unlikely future, a bizarre means of population control and entertainment is a game of life and death. A number of people are entered into the game, one is picked as Hunter and one as Victim. The Hunter knows all details about the Victim and well try to execute him or her once the Hunt has begun. Meanwhile if a Victim feels sure he/she knows the identity of his/her hunter, he/she can also kill the Hunter but if they are mistaken then the person will be arrested and imprisoned for 30 years. The first person to win 10 different confrontations will receive 10 million dollars and win the Game.

The film focuses on a relationship between an Hunter, an American woman named Caroline Meredith here played by the European-the lovely Ursula Andress and her target Italian Marcello Polletti played by the famed Marcello Mastroianni. And man is it a blast? Wild and unpredictable, stylish and fun, it's a cool ride you won't soon forget. If you loved DANGER: DIABOLIK, you should love this too. While some might have enjoyed a darker and more 70s sci-fi style outcome, it wouldn't have suited this film at all. There are always some people too wrapped up in themselves to pick up on the spectacular ideas & images in this movie, though it's hard to believe. The look & concept of the "future" in this movie is one of the most original in film, from the s/m club to the sexual roadside rest stops to having to hide your parents because it's a law to turn them in after a certain age _ but above all _ the concept of the hunt itself. Absolutely brilliant!!!
